It's fun to find things in the real world that we learned about in Animal Crossing, whether that's types of animals or plants, or famous artwork. My kids love asking "is this real" when using a certain material in Minecraft or Lego Fortnite (for example, is granite or obsidian a real thing?) - this creates conversations that we might not have otherwise!

For example, my kids like to play in 'survival' mode in Minecraft, and I do not -- they can fight mobs while I build houses. There's no wrong way of playing that game.
